Hire-A-Redbird Terms and Conditions
Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before entering and using the NACElink/Symplicity product known as Hire-A-Redbird. By entering and using the Hire-A-Redbird database, you are agreeing to all of the terms and conditions. If you do not agree to the terms and conditions, do not enter or use the Hire-A-Redbird database.
You understand and accept that we cannot guarantee that any posting and /or employer is screened, reviewed, recommended, or endorsed, and/or that every posting and/or employer is legitimate. All users are strongly advised to adequately screen prospective postings and/or organizations with whom they may apply. See CareerServices.IllinoisState.edu/fraud for guidance on how to evaluate a posting and/or employer or identify fraudulent postings.
User acknowledges and agrees that the inclusion of any available posting and/or employer in the Hire-A-Redbird database does not in any way constitute a warranty, endorsement, or representation as to the quality, safety, security, veracity, or legitimacy of the posting or the employer/organization. You agree to use the Hire-A-Redbird database at your sole risk and understand and agree that The Board of Trustees of Illinois State University on behalf of its Career Services disclaims any and all liability or responsibility for problems which may arise or losses which may occur with regard to use of the Hire-A-Redbird database including, but not limited to:
1) fraudulent postings;
2) financial loss; and/or
3) safety issues.
Further, user hereby indemnifies and holds harmless The Board of Trustees of Illinois State University, its officers, agents, employees, and any other persons or entities acting on its behalf, and the successors and assigns for any and all of the aforementioned persons and entities, against any and all claims, demands, and causes of action whatsoever, whether presently known or unknown, of any person who suffers any injury, disability, death or other harm, to person or property or both, as a result of user's participation in the Hire-A-Redbird database.
User acknowledges that he or she has had sufficient time to review and seek explanation of the provisions contained above, has carefully read them, understands them fully, and agrees to be bound by them.
